"Bluebird" textures for default Cessna 172 Skyhawk.
Repaint by Don Brynelsen (Victorian_Lord@hotmail.com)

This represents my interpretation of an actual Skyhawk I saw on the ramp at my local airport.
I liked the fadeaway effect on the sidepanels and the cartoon bluebird on the tail. Unfortunetly I
could not include the really intricate pinstriping around the panels on the actual plane, nor the
"Alice's little Bluebird" written in script on the cowling. (It would have come out backwards on one side.)
But I like what I managed to come up with and I hope you will too.

description=A stable and trustworthy plane, most pilots have logged at least a few hours in a Cessna 172, since it's the most widely available aircraft in the rental fleet, and is used by most flight schools. Since the first prototype was completed in 1955, more than 35,000 C172s have been produced, making it the world's most popular single-engine plane. One of Cessna's first tricycle-gear airplanes, the 172 quickly became the favorite of a growing class of business pilots. Its reliability and easy handling (along with thoughtful engineering and structural updates) have ensured its continued popularity for more than 35 years.

There, you should now be ready to take your bluebird up for a spin!

These textures created for the use and enjoyment of my fellow flight simmers and may not be part of any
payware package with out my permission. Tanks to Mark Rooks for creating the paint kit I used and to
Nate Bryson, owner of the aircraft I based the textures on, for allowing me to walk around it and make notes.
Thank you for downloading the "Alice's Bluebird" textures and Happy flying!
